The eternal romanticism of Chantilly, the new life of the monastery in Nice and the Grand Palais re-visited!
Here are some news that we would like to share in this issue. A year ago, Valentino chose Chantilly to present his haute couture collection (get inspired and make sure to watch her video on the Internet). We will follow Valentino's steps and travel to the castle, which is only 25 minutes away from Charles de Gaulle airport.

We will talk about two palace hotels where you definitely need to stay on your next visit to France!
40 km north of Paris, in the heart of the Chantilly estate, just a stone's throw from the castle, there is the Auberge du Jeu de Paume hotel, which took its name from the Jeu de Paume, which today houses the richest collection of paintings of the Conde Museum.
Its long white facade opens to the eye, the moment you pass the gate of Saint-Denis. Inherited from the architects Lenotre and Mansard, the austerity of the lines and the elegance of the layout are an echo of a kind of art of "living in French".
As before, Chantilly is a place for glorious meals. Once the legendary maitre d' Francois Watel hosted his last sumptuous dinner here, and today the Michelin-starred restaurant La Table du Connétable offers an inventive menu, while the libraries and fireplace room at Bar du Jardin d'Hiver create a warm and cozy atmosphere.
The reconstruction of the historic Chateau Mont Royal hotel is about to end, which will reopen as the InterContinental Hotel! The grandeur of the castle skillfully combines elegance and lightness, the rooms are flooded with natural light and timeless elegance, their design is inspired by the main elements of this place: nature, horse riding and Chantilly lace.
Summer demands news from the Cote d'Azur! The "Du Couvent" in Nice is a five–star hotel, whose opening took place this month, and the foundation stone was first laid on October 28, 1604. It is located in four separate buildings, boasts 88 rooms decorated by the design firm Festen Architecture, three restaurants, several swimming pools and underground “Roman baths".
In addition, there is a bucolic garden with terraces; a bakery where bread is done the same way as in the 17th century. Even at the local pharmacy – same as it was centuries ago – you can buy custom-made decoctions of Chanteur, Nuit Paisible and (apparently, this is a real bestseller) “Intestin Doux”.
And another discovery, now in Paris, where the restoration of the Grand Palais, located next to the Champs-Elysees, opposite the Small Palace, will be completed very soon!
Airships, balloons and even a rocket were once launched here (Chanel Fall 2017), in the past this magnificent place held auto and fashion shows, equestrian competitions, art and industrial exhibitions, antique salons... This used to be a hospital, a bridgehead, a military warehouse – the Grand Palais has had an eventful, colorful and fascinating history.

I hope now we have convinced you to go to France!
